Meet RiceTec South America
South America
In 2000, the company invested in opening new markets and began operations in Mercosur, where it has been developing, producing and selling hybrid rice in Brazil and Uruguay for almost 25 years. In addition to these countries, RiceTec is already present in markets in Europe, Asia, the Andean Region and Central America.
RiceTec operates in the creation of new cultivars, through research and development of new technologies, and in the commercialization of seeds and services for irrigated rice cultivation. We also bring expert technical advice for sustainable economic return, better resource use, and for overall sustainability in rice production throughout Mercosur.
